(Automotive) I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product.My head gasket started to fail the week before Thanksgiving, and this stuff kept me mobile through the holidays and long enough to get my tax return. In fact, it probably would have lasted even longer, but i just flushed the cooling system and now the leak is back. This product doesn't transfer heat nearly as well as antifreeze. Your heater will produce less heat, and your engine will run warmer than usual. I don't know if this is because it clogs stuff up, or just the nature of the formulation. Having said that, i wouldn't recommend this product for the summer months. It should also be said that while it hasn't done any permanent damage (heater core and engine temps are now back to normal,) it also hasn't permanently fixed anything either. (Automotive) The correct way to repair a coolant leak is to replace the parts that are leaking (cylinder head, head gasket, radiator, etc.), but if you can't do that for some reason, this is your best bet. It'll permanently seal up leaks that all those cheap stop-leaks just can't. It won't clog anything up either (provided nothing is nearly clogged already). Both leaks where leacking out the sides of the heads themselfs. The best out thier 5 stars. This is the Best product if your car can run in park for 15 plus minutes without overheating. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a head gasket on thier car and cant pay to get it fixed. |
